I also decided to make my PSD file available to download, because there are so many variables (clothes, hair, accessories such as earrings and hair clips) - it’s impossible to include everything in one set and it’s so fun to customise your own babies! I’ve clearly labelled all layers, so it should be easy to edit and produce your own files. Prehistoric babies are coming tomorrow hopefully!

I will also be releasing era-specific default replacements as I progress with the history challenge. After endless layering in Photoshop, I’m finally sharing my first set of default baby skin replacements! This is a basic set of light, medium and dark skintones (sorry alien babies!) with a different outfit for boys and girls.
